ENSYTE has completed the implementation of an Integrated Gas Supply / Retail Choice Solution for Pennsylvania’s largest Electric and Natural Gas Utility, serving 1.7 million electric customers and over 500,000 natural gas customers.

The Retail Choice Solution manages all business processes pertaining to the company’s Gas Choice program, under which suppliers provide competitive natural gas supply to transportation customers on the company’s natural gas pipeline.  Functionality includes Customer Management for both High Volume and Low Volume Transportation, Customer Allocations, Nom Confirmation Automation process, Pool Management, Imbalance Trading, Settlement. Invoicing, Accounting, and Reports.

The application also included Interfaces to various operational and accounting application, including: Daily Read Measurement Uploads, Platts (Gas Daily & IFERC), Customer Data, Supplier Balance Invoice Data, and Customer Daily Contract Quantity Uploads.

ENSYTE also added several key enhancements to the Gas Supply solution for the customer, including: Off System Sales, Platts Interface, Firm Transportation Pool Forecasting, Pipeline Rates Automation, and Storage Ratchets Features.
